Welcome to Claptales — claptales.com ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our website and services, or by placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Definitions

Customer / You: Any person or entity using the website or purchasing products from Claptales.

Products: Items offered for sale on the website (toys, play-sets, accessories, etc.).

2. Orders & Acceptance

Placing an order on the website constitutes an offer to purchase the Products selected. All orders are subject to acceptance by Claptales. We may refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspicion of fraud.

3. Prices & Payments

  • All prices are shown in INR (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • We make reasonable efforts to ensure prices and product information are accurate; however, errors may occur. If a product is priced incorrectly, we may cancel the order and notify you.
  • Accepted payment methods include the options shown at checkout. If you select Cash on Delivery (COD), please note additional terms below.

4. Cash on Delivery (COD)

COD is available only where explicitly offered at checkout. Claptales reserves the right to enable or disable COD for certain orders or customers.

  • Order value limit: COD is available only for orders with a total value less than ₹3,000 (inclusive of taxes and shipping). Orders above this amount will not be eligible for COD.
  • Additional COD charges may apply and will be shown during checkout.
  • We reserve the right to refuse COD on suspicious orders or if verification fails.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We ship to the delivery address you provide at checkout. Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance and are not guaranteed. Claptales is not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, customs, or incorrect addresses.

Title and risk of loss pass to you once the carrier picks up the shipment from our warehouse.

6. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Our returns & exchange policy governs cancellations, returns, and refunds. Please refer to our Returns & Exchange page for full details. Refund timelines depend on payment method used — refunds to digital payments may take several business days to reflect.

7. Product Safety & Age Guidelines

Many of our Products are toys intended for children. Please follow the age recommendations and safety instructions on product packaging and the product page. Parents and caregivers must supervise play where appropriate. Claptales accepts no liability for misuse of products contrary to provided instructions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including text, images, logos, designs, and code — is owned by or licensed to Claptales. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

9. User Conduct & Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the site for unlawful activities, to post harmful content, or to use automated systems to access or collect data from the site. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claptales will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or in connection with your use of the site or purchase of Products. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant Product.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Claptales and its affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.

12. Privacy

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the site, you consent to that processing.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date above. Continued use of the site after the changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in India where Claptales is registered. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that state.
